Early Decision
Early Decision is an option for students who, after careful consideration, are certain that Clarkson is their number one college choice. The plan does not prohibit the student from submitting applications to other schools, but it does commit the student to withdraw other applications if the student is admitted to Clarkson. Early Decision candidates are strongly encouraged to visit campus and meet with our students, faculty and staff.
If financing a Clarkson education is a deciding factor in your college choice, and you need to compare financial aid offers, then you should apply under the regular decision deadline. Keep in mind that Clarkson does not offer need-based financial assistance to international students. Candidates are strongly encouraged to discuss their plans with their college counselor prior to submitting an Early Decision Application.
