International Students
Talented students from all over the world come to Clarkson to study in our safe, closeknit community.
Our focus is on providing an educational experience in a friendly, supportive environment that encourages teamwork and leadership development. Clarkson offers all students the opportunity to participate in team projects, research activities, co-ops and internships, and many other academic-related opportunities.
International students may enter Clarkson as first-year students, transfer students, graduate students, or as part of an exchange program. For the purpose of admission, an international student is defined as a student studying in the U.S. on a nonimmigrant visa.
Clarkson provides merit-based international scholarships to qualified applicants. A supportive team of International Student Advsiors ensures that each student's needs are met.
Clarkson has a very active International Student Organization that helps to organize and implement a wide variety of cultural activities throughout the school year. We also have the Chinese Scholars and Students Association, the Friends of India, Muslim Students Association, Africana Students United, and the Multiculturual Alliance of Northern New York (MANNY).
