2nd ANNUAL RELAY FOR LIFE COMES TO CLARKSON UNIVERSITY

This year cancer will strike more than 1.3 million Americans and take more than half a million lives. The North Country Chapter of the Alumni Association has decided to get involved in this years Relay for Life at Clarkson University and we are hoping that you will support our efforts!

Relay for Life is an overnight event that unites our community in a common effort to support the American Cancer Societys lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. The money raised from this event will be used for research, support of patients and their families, prevention programs and advocacy.

Last year I personally walked over 18 miles at Clarksons Indoor Recreational Center (IRC). Our team, Christines Crusader raised over $1,120 contributing to the overall campus fundraiser totaling over $13,000! I urge you to make a donation today! Please sponsor Christines Crusaders and help us reach our goal of $2,500!

The American Cancer Society is raffling off a 1976 Rolls Royce, Silver Shadow, with 21K miles. Dont miss a chance to win this class car! Tickets are 1 for $25 or 5 for $100. We accept CASH, checks made payable to American Cancer Society or secure online payment. The choice is yours.

Robin Ryan Flaherty (Accounting)
I thought it was time to surface after 15+ years and say hello to anyone who remembers me (and probably start being a responsible alumni with my checkbook).

I was married in 1995. My husband (a Bonaventure Grad--we are constantly debating which school is better; I tell him that Bonaventure is where everyone who couldn't get into Clarkson went..)and I just had our fourth child in November of last year. We have two girls (Meaghan 7 & Caitlin 4) and two boys (Bobby 2 & Timmy 6 mos.).

I worked in public accounting for about 7 years and burned out big time--I must have been skipping class when they warned us about the blood that needed to be shed in order to succeed...My husband still has his nose to the CPA grindstone; I'm a single mom four months a year.

I switched to employee benefit sales about 7 years and love it! I work 2 days a week in lieu of a prescription... Hope to catch the next reunion.
