RESUME PROCESS CLARIFICATION To clear up any confusion regarding the resume process being used by the Career Center, I want to provide this clarification for all students. A) All resumes that were in KnightLink prior to January 1, 2008 CAN BE uploaded in StudentKnightLink WITHOUT review by the Career Center. You, the resume owner, need to access your account in StudentKnightLink to move your resume from KnightLink (the version used during the Fall of 2007). B) Any resumes posted to StudentKnightLink prior to January 1, 2008 DO NOT NEED TO BE REVIEWED by the Career Center if you are making changes to what is already posted. C) All NEW resumes that are posted to StudentKnightLink after January 1, 2008 need to be reviewed by the Career Center prior to being posted. This review is done to ensure that your resumes meet the professional requirements of the employers recruiting Clarkson students. D) Please submit a hard copy of your resume to the front desk at the Career Center where it will be reviewed and you will be notified via email no later than 72 hours from the date of submission that it is ready to be picked up. When you pick it up, you will be told if corrections are needed, if it is ok to be posted or if you need to talk with a counselor about your resume. Again, this process is being used to ensure that you have the most professional document possible for potential job searches. We have received feedback from employers that our resumes do not always meet their standards so it is important that we represent the best possible image. If you have questions about the process or if you are wondering if your resume fits categories A or B please contact the Career Center at X6477.
