Clarkson Alumni
The Nominations and Awards Committee of the Clarkson Alumni Association is seeking nominations for candidates for the Golden Knight or Woodstock Award for 2009. The awards are presented during Alumni Reunion Weekend, July 9 – 12, 2009. The criteria for each award are outlined below.

AWARD DESCRIPTIONS
THE WOODSTOCK AWARD
Since 1986, the Woodstock Award recognizes young alumni who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service to Clarkson and the Alumni Association, and have used their Clarkson experience to make a notable contribution to their careers. The award is presented to alumni celebrating their first, fifth, tenth, fifteenth or twentieth reunion.
THE GOLDEN KNIGHT AWARD
The Clarkson Alumni Association Board of Governors announced the establishment of the Alumni Distinguished Service Award, better known as the "Golden Knight Award," in 1962 to recognize alumni who have distinguished themselves as Clarkson's best representatives and ambassadors. This award is presented annually at reunion to alumni who are celebrating or have surpassed their twenty-fifth reunion and who have distinguished themselves either by service to their alma mater through Alumni Association activities, or have demonstrated outstanding career achievement, bringing distinction to themselves and to Clarkson. The Golden Knight is Clarkson's most prestigious alumni award. Alumni who have been tapped as Golden Knights are presented with a unique trophy of a Golden Knight and citation outlining their accomplishments. Current year recipient citations and photographs are on display in the foyer of Woodstock Lodge along with a plaque containing the inscribed names of all past recipients.
