Civil & Environmental Engineering - Undergraduate Programs
There are currently 250 undergraduate students in our program. These students are able to choose their focus and pursue what interests them — and they have the support and leadership of outstanding faculty throughout the process. At Clarkson, our students are grounded in the fundamentals they will need for a successful career in one of the civil and environmental engineering disciplines.
Students also benefit from a rich learning environment that extends well beyond the classroom. Each year of undergraduate study includes classes with laboratory components and hands-on design experiences. Students find learning through these venues can be applied to "real life" in fun and meaningful ways. Students notice this link particularly as they participate in design competitions or interact with visiting industry professionals who share their experiences and knowledge with our students.
A large number of professional electives allow students to tailor their education to meet their needs through two separate degree programs and numerous minors and professional concentrations.
