Student Health Center

In an emergency, you will be seen as soon as possible. Otherwise, we request your cooperation with our appointment system, which is designed to minimize waiting time.

All full-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for unlimited visits to the Health Center. Spouses and dependents are not eligible. Most services at the Health Center are free because they are paid for through your facilities user fee. Confidentiality is assured. The following services are available:

  • Out-patient Care, including treatment of routine illnesses, first aid, and sports injuries.
  • Reproductive Health Care is available for men and women. Male genito-urinary problems are diagnosed and treated. Gynecological care for women is offered, including routine exams, pap tests, and birth control pills. Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases for both men and women.
  • Laboratory Tests, including mono tests, pregnancy tests, rapid strep tests, and urinalysis are done in our office. Lab work not processed in our lab is sent to a reference lab at the student's expense.
  • Limited Medications are available only for illnesses diagnosed and treated by Health Center medical staff.
  • Other services include a self-care center for routine colds and flu, vision and blood pressure screening, allergy injections, and many more.
