Requirements

Who should apply?
We are looking for students who will graduate in the top 5% of their Clarkson University graduating class. We encourage applications from people who graduate from high school in the top 10% of their class, have high SAT scores or have outstanding academic or leadership achievements.

Requirements
Enrollment is restricted to 30 students per class year, who will take one course per semester in Honors. Students must earn a minimum of 24 credit hours in Honors classes (18 hours if they enter the program after the first year), graduate with a minimum 3.25 grade point average, and must also complete service activities every semester.

Commitments:

  • Participate in Honors Program meetings, class dinners, and similar occasions of  communal governance.
  • Engage in community service in the spirit of enhancing our community and the quality of life.
  • Act upon and develop the potential that earned admission to the program.
  • Contribute to classes in which questions multiply faster than answers and learning deepens as a result.
