Pre-Health Science Seminars Keep Students Informed

Pre-Health students are encouraged to attend seminars at Clarkson provided by health care professionals. These seminars cover a wide variety of topics, ranging from 'what it takes to gain admission to medical school' to opportunities for scholarships to help pay for your education. Examples of seminars from 2007-2008 are listed below:

ield Trip to Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Students will meet with admissions staff, tour the medical school and sit in on an anatomy laboratory. March 27, 2008

Advances in Emergency Medicine During Conflicts. Col. Jeffrey Short, MD, will discuss his experience as Commander of the 115th Field Hospital in Iraq. He will describe advances in emergency medicine, how other medical professions are employed, and career opportunities for a variety of medical professions including full tuition scholarships for medical and dental school.
