Information Systems and Business Processes
You have an interest in business. You also know how a system for easily retrieving information is crucial to a business's success. The integration of information technologies into the business environment includes both skills in working with people and an understanding of the technologies of computers, networks and databases. In the Information Systems & Business Processes program you will study business applications for the Internet; data communications and networks; database concepts, programming, and administration; e-Business fundamentals; project management; information systems analysis and design.
Then you have your choice of specializations, including supply chain systems modeling, Clarkson Consulting Group, system administration, Internet marketing, or managing technology.
At Clarkson, we get you in the game early. Many schools accept students into business degree study only in their junior year. Here, all of our freshmen are engaged in a two-semester entrepreneurial sequence designed to expose them to all facets of the business enterprise. Development of a start-up sets the context for the next three years of academics. We call it "learning business by doing business."
In addition to this undergraduate program, Clarkson also offers graduate degrees in business.
