Steps to Summer Enrollment

Current Students

  • See your academic advisor for approval of course enrollment.
  • Contact your SAS Rep for Term Activation.
  • If full-time for summer and requesting financial aid, complete all financial aid paperwork by the deadline of April 1.
  • If living on campus, complete the Summer School Housing Application by April 25.
  • Go online in PeopleSoft and enroll yourself in courses, accessible beginning April 3.
  • Come to SAS by the end of the second class day to complete financial clearance and Check-in; if on-line only, call SAS to complete check-in.

Returning Students

  • Send a letter requesting readmission to Clarkson University, Student Administrative Services, at least two weeks prior to the session start.
  • Pay your deposit and provide health insurance information.
  • If full-time for summer and requesting financial aid, complete all financial aid paperwork by the deadline of April 1.
  • If living on campus, complete the Summer School Housing Application by April 25.
  • Have your department submit an add/drop form, or bring one to SAS.
  • Come to SAS by the end of the second class day to complete financial clearance and Check-in; if on-line only, call SAS to complete check-in.

New Matriculated Students

  • Contact your department to discuss course options and approval.
  • Ask your department to submit an add/drop form to SAS so we can enroll you.
  • Come to SAS by the end of the second class day to complete financial clearance and Check-in.

Non-Matriculated Students

  • Contact SAS for an application form. Submit this along with the required $50 deposit. If you previously took courses here, submit a letter indicating you wish to return as a non-matriculated student. You must also provide health insurance information.
  • Submit an add/drop form approved by Catherine Avadikian, non-degree student advisor. She can be reached at 315-268-3948; her office is in Room 106, Price Hall.
  • Come to SAS by the end of the second class day to complete financial clearance and Check-in; if on-line only, call SAS to complete check-in.
